Legal Question in Employment Law in Georgia

I want to teach drivers ed(behind the wheel only) lessons using my home as the office(only)....I was told I could not because I was in the city limits.

I would not have students come to me, I'd simply pick them up. So my question is do I have to have a license from the city to operate the "office" from my home and if yes then why can't I operate the business from my home. This would not increase traffic in my subdivision.

Your answer is great appreciated.

Melinda

You need to direct your question to the city and county licensing agencies.

Most likely you would still need to have the license. However, it is possible that you could get an exception.
