i have worked at i place for about 11 months. during this time i became pregnant, i was told the whole time that i would be able to take an unpayed maternity leave,three days before i was to leave i was told i would not be able to com back after having the baby because they could not give me a maternity leave. can they do this? what should i do?

It depends on the size of the company, as well as other factors. Google "The Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA)" and/or consult a Georgia labor/employment law attorney.
