Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Georgia

I am not sure what category this goes into. I am currently having problems with the company I am renting an apartment from. I have noticed staff and management let themselves in my apartment when I am not there, they refused to fix complaints with the apartment. Most recently after paying my rent on time in full, I received a visit from management after 8PM saying they could not accept the payment even though it was made in full. I have noticed the wiring in this building is in need of repair (electrical, coaxial and telephone) yet nothing is done. Recently I came home after watching a late night movie and noticed once again someone had been in my apartment and left a letter on my desk stating that now instead of the normal rent of $647.00, I owed them $818.00 due to the payment being late (since they refused it on the 1st and returned it on the 3rd after working hours at 8PM). What can be done about this?

You can post this several times, but unless and until you tell the rest of the story, you won't get a response that will help you. You know why they say they can't take the rent, yet you leave that part of the story out. If you don't know, then you should have asked them before you posted. If you want a meaningful response, you can re-post the whole story. If you think telling us only part of it will get you a reponse you can use against them, it won't work. Landlords are also used to tenants trying to raise other issues (maintenance, etc.) during a rent dispute.
