Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Georgia

Possible Malparctice by dentist

I went to dentist to fix a apparently chipped tooth. MY tongue was rubbing with it and getting hurt. This was a little pain and my life was business as usual. After gettign treatement and some filling, I has sever pain in my tongue. My dentist told me, when i was leaving his office, that i bit a my tongue very badly and there is a hole in my tognue which he already filled and treated. My life was completly disrupted for almost one complete week. After gettign some relief in pain, My original problem is as it was before visting dentist.

I am planning to sue dentist for pain, injury, waste of time and emotional demages. Does my claim has any basis?

No one can tell you whether or not you have a case from your post (or any post, for that matter). One glaring omission is the actual "malpractice," or what the dentist did wrong. For that, you'll need a malpractice lawyer, and an expert opinion from another dentist. Count on more time and disruption, and perhaps expenses for the other dentist.
