Legal Question in Personal Injury in Georgia

Going to Magistrate Court to Sue for Medical Bills Insurance Company won't pay

Insurance company will not pay for the injuries my friend and I received when their client hit us in the back of our car. We are suing the driver in the Magistrate Court. We have been advised to notify the driver's insurance company. Do we send the insurance company a copy of our Statement of Claim or the paper served to the driver by the Deputy Marshal? If the insurance company is notified are they obligated to pay for our medical bills and pain? My car was repaired by the driver's insurance company. Thank you!

If you had severe injuries, you should at least consult with a local personal injury attorney. Remember that you are dealing with professionals who are trying to limit how much damages you can get.
