Georgia does not have a cap on damages. You are entitled to compensation for past medical expenses, future medical expenses, lost earnings, loss of earning capacity, and past and future pain and suffering. Although there is no cap on damages, your recovery might be limited depending on the amount of insurance coverage carried by the driver of the car that hit you.

If you were injured while crossing in a cross-walk by a negligent driver (as indicated on the police report taken at the scene), there is no fixed limit to the compensation that you may be entitled to recover for your injuries and pain & suffering from your broken foot.

It is important that you now immediately contact an attorney to begin handling your claim with the insurance company of the driver that struck you with his car. I will need additional information about your personal injury in the Villa Rica - however, do not post the specifics on this public website.

Please call my office today for an absolutely free consultation. [404.496.4119] Good luck.

There is no cap on the damages. You can potentially get not only actual medical bills, but also pain and suffering, plus lost wages, and sometimes punitive damages. A practical limit could be the amount of insurance coverage the driver had.

The one thing that is almost always true is that you will receive more with a lawyer than without one, and that the earlier you hire a lawyer the more effectively be can represent you. Be aware that there are strict deadlines to pursue such cases, so if you wait too long you never can collect. My office handles these type cases.

I'd be glad to offer you a free consultation. If possible, bring the police report. My number is 404-768-3509.
