Legal Question in Personal Injury in Georgia

tonight i was speeding on a 55 going 77... a cop shot his radar at me and passed mee... so i kept going... and then i saw he was following me.. so i turned my car to go back home... but my car slipped and went into a ditch... i quickly turned my engine off.. but i have a smart key system so the lights turned off... the cop car came 20 secs later and crashed into the ditch with me.... through this whole process his blue lights were never on... so all he did was charged me for a speeding ticket... however he wrecked his car with mine because he slipped... after he wrecked his car 2 secs later he turned on his blue lights.. but they are making me pay for his car too now? what do i do? I dont think it is in the law that i must pay it if his blue lights never turned on.

Why would that matter?

And, assuming you carried insurance as you should have, your insurer will take care of the damage claim so simply report it to them.
