Can I change the name on my deed legally myself. I live in clAyton co ga

Your question clearly shows that you should not try. You don't change the name on a deed. You create a new deed. Whether that is appropriate, or could cause significant problems for you, is another question altogether. Doing it incorrectly, or unwisely, could be a disaster and you might not find out until it is too late to fix. If it turns out that it is appropriate, a real estate lawyer in your county can take care of it pretty reasonably.
