Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Georgia

Lawsuit without an ending

2 years ago we were sued by an individual that bought our house through a realty company. There was a problem with water in the basement which was the fault of the city and they put that in writing and agreed to fix the problem. The purchaser knew all of this when she bought the house as it was contained in the disclousure. When the remnants of several hurricanes blew through the basement flooded and she decided to sue. We have been diposed along with the realtors, the new homeowner and still no results. My husband passed away 2 weeks ago after only an 8 week battle with cancer at age 42. I have two small children and I need this issue to be resolved and closed. I need guidance and do not have any more money or time to waste. Please help!

Re: Lawsuit without an ending

Since you were sued two years ago, I assume you have an attorney. If so, it is inappropriate for another attorney to give you advice on a pending case. If not, you should consult with a lawyer.
