Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Georgia

How To Transfer Property from one person to another

My Great Aunt has title to some property that originally belonged to my grandmother. My uncle's name and her name is on the deed. She wants me to have th property as my grandfather, my mother and both my mothers brothers are deceased with no children. My mother was my grandmother's only daughter. How can we get this land put back in my name so I can start paying the taxes as my great aunt is 83yrs. old and there is no obejection from any family members. Can we just do a warrany deed or what is the lowest cost legal way to do this so that I have a legal deed to this property?

Thank You,

If the titled holders are deceased, then you will need to determine the status of their estates. If no estate action was done on any of them, and there are no debts of any of those estates, then you will need to do heirship affidavits to clear title to each of their heirs, until you have all interests covered. Once you have that, the living heirs can then deed out to you.

You can just get your great aunt and your uncle to sign a warranty deed to you.
