Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Georgia

Yesterday, my husband and I were in court because the owner and realtor of a house we were renting sued us for non payment of one months rent as well as damages. The judge ruled in our favor but we were told we would pay a late rent fee and court costs. If judge ruled in our favor should we be paying court costs? This took place in Douglasville, GA.

Thank you.

It sounds like you were late on rent. In that case, with you being ordered to pay late fees, the judge ruled AGAINST you, and yes, that means you pay court costs.
