Legal Question in Traffic Law in Georgia

I in Newnan Georgia and I was pulled over for failure to maintain lane. It was after midnight, so the road was very dark. I was looking for the right turning lane lines and arrows. But, on Newnan Crossing Blvd East, there are 2 separate turning lanes that are 100 ft apart. I started crossing the white line, because I thought this was the right turning lane, then as my headlights saw white has marks further down the right turning lane, I saw that this right turning lane was going nowhere, so I immediately turned my car away from the turning lane. Then, the next right turning lane was the correct right turning lane. I failed to use my right turn signal changing lanes, because I drove up on the next right turning lane within 10 seconds, that's how close they are at the end of the road.

It was a very poor decision to post a detailed enough confession here on the public internet (this is the internet) where prosecutors and likely police can see it, with so many details that the prosecutor can identify your case from the post. You may want to remove it and hope they haven't seen it.

You didn't post a question, other than a pretty complete admission, but questions should be directed to your lawyer, who can keep them confidential, instead of helping the prosecutor with web posts.
