Assets of the deceased

As executor of the Will and stated beneficiary how can I cash disability checks that have come in written to the 'estate of xx' (the deceased.

The amount of funds is less than 10,000 and no other assests need to go to Probate.

Just go to the bank and open up and account under the name of "Joe Blow, Executor of the Estate of John Doe". If your bank doesn't know how to do this, you are banking with the wrong folks.
