life estate with remainder interest

If someone draws up a life estate with remainder interest before he actually possesses the estate (the will had not yet been probated that assigned interests to them), is the life estate legal?

Re: life estate with remainder interest

The life estate and remainder, if properly executed and recorded, will attach to the property when it is received. The better practice is for the person granting the life estate, etc., to re-record it after getting the property.
