Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Georgia

My fiance's father passed away in September of 2008 and had a will that was placed in a safe. His soon to be ex wife got to the poperty and safe before anyone else could and said there was nowill n record,the family knows there was a will but has had no luck locating it without any leagal advice. My question is how do we go about locating the will to find outt for sure what all was in it?

You can't. A person making a will, without telling his family where it is, has in effect wasted his time. Unless you can find it and produce it, there isn't one.

Also, you're asking WAY too late. If you had believed there was a will, you would have needed to have gone to probate court right away and made some emergency filings to protect the estate. You can't just sit on your rights for over two years and suddenly show an interest.
