Re: power of attorney

You say you "purchased" a power of attormney form. The preparation of a Power of Attorney is the practice of law and should be done by a lawyer. In addition to making sure the document is correct, you will receive advice about how and when it can be used, and problems that could occur when and if you do.

The proper place to get a Power of Attorney is from an attorney. We do a simple one for $100 including one consultation. Feel free to contact my office should you be interested in that.

There is no way anyone here can comment on the papers you bought, as we have not seen them, but unless they were prepared by a lawyer, I would be concerned.
