responsiavbility of the executor

My wife being a beneficiary of

a will of her cousin who passed

away 12/30/05 and the lawyer handeling the probate is just

giving her the runaround and

dosent return phone calls - who

is more responsiabile, the lawyer or the executor. what would our next response be that

will move this along? thanks

Both the attorney and executor have the responsibility to see that probate is administered in a timely manner. If you think that they are not acting correctly, you can hire an attorney to ask that you be appointed to replace the present executor.
