Re: Selling house in probate

You will be well-advised to employ an attorney in the state where the property is located to advise you in order to avoid any last minute surprises that may interfere with the sale of the property. My firm handles real estate closings and probate issues and would be glad to assist you.

Re: Selling house in probate

It depends. Do you have an attorney representing you? THere are various reporting and filing requirements to go through probate.

You CAN do it yourself but it is somewhat of a hassle to do on your own.

Legal fees for representing the executors/administrators of an estate are fixed by law. So, you can hire an attorney to represent you if needed.
