Re: can i cancel and settle

If you are treating under workers' compensation for carpal tunnel, or any other injury, you can settle your claim, which can include one of two options:

1) Settle and close out medical treatment, however, such a settlement should include funds that will cover future treatment; or

2) Settle, but keep your medical treatment open with the authorized treating physician for a set period, generally from 3 months to one year.

Yes, you can settle your claim to include closing out your claim for future medical care. Keep in mind; however, most employers will require a resignation as part of your settlement. Good luck and please feel free to call me if you have any further questions.
