Legal Question in Workers Comp in Georgia

Disc injury at work

I injured my L4 &L5 disc at work after my job superintendent had our forklift removed prematurely, so he and I moved an industrial pipe threader by hand, ''around 700 or 800 pounds'' Ive had 3 MRIs and a discogram that says integrity of the disc was in such bad shape, that the discogram was inconclusive due to patient being unable to withstand the pressure necessary to pump up the disc. ''. Ive seen five different neurosurgeons and I had a regular neurosurgeon but his staff really messed up my prescripitions, 3 times, and I became VERY irritated at this incompetence and voiced my opinion of same . My Dr. wrote me a letter three wks. later excusing himself as my Dr. and stating that I need ongoing medical attention ASAP and to get another Dr. I DO have an attorney but the guy dont even remember who I am half the time and thats NO EXAGERATION!!. I have been without any medical care now for around 6 or 7 months and no pain meds either as well a my ''tens'' unit is no longer functioning and I need another . I am still recieving my workers comp. pay though. I NEED A DR. AND CANT GET THE INS. COMP. OR MY LAWYER TO GET ME ANY HELP AND I STAY IN CONSTANT PAIN. ***HOW CAN I END THIS NIGHTMARE OR AM I AT THE MERCY OF WHOMEVER????

You need to tell your attorney about your frustrations first. When you no longer are represented by an attorney, I will be happy to help you but I do not want to infringe on another attorney's matter. Check out our website and if we can help, please call 770.422.9000.
