Legal Question in Traffic Law in Hawaii
Dear Sirs,
My son has been racing his car at an old race track in Hawaii.The land owners have done nothing with the place.I told my son if he gets caught by the police he will get a ticket for drag racing and that will not be good for his insurance rates. He tells me that if someone calls the police the only thing they can do is ticket him for tresspassing. Is this true?

He is committing a crime in violation of Hawaii Revised Statutes Chapter 708-813 thru 815 depending on what warnings are posted or fencing. He can get more than a ticket.
