Compromise and Release Settlement

Can a personal injury law suit filed against insurance carrier in a workers compensation case after a compromise and release settlement with all parties involved waive rights to continue future legal action?

I don't understand your question. Who is filing the personal injury lawsuit? Is it against a 3rd party? Or against some other person/entity? Are you saying there was a waiver of future rights agreed to in the worker's compensation case?
