Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Idaho

probate , wills, estates

Is a known beneficiary of an estate entitiled to any listing of assetts of the estate previous to probate filing? Estate is all cash but sister (P.R.) refuses to share the amount for any reason to other three siblings. She seems to find power in holding information. Will very clear...4 way split? Can she be forced to share what she knows when my father had no objections to anyone knowing?

Re: probate , wills, estates

Probate will have to be opened, and a personal representative appointed. That PR will then obtain all records, assets, and debts of the deceased and present a distribution plan to the court. Any child or other "interested person" can be the PR, unless there is a will appointing a specific person. You may call for a free consultation
