Herniated Discs

I recently left my job early Nov. At the end of Nov. I hurt my back and ended up going to the ER. Found out that I have several herniated discs in my back. I am no longer insured, and don't see myself working until the pain is gone. Is this something I can collect disability for?

Probably not, unless you have insurance or are totally disabled for more than a year. How did you hurt your back?
