Depends on how you want to transfer it. for example, stock sale where the new owner takes on old liability or asset sale where you keep it. there are issues you should be aware of. what type / size of company is this?

1) Whether you are a corp., partnership, sole proprietor, etc., what you own and in what manner you wish to transfer ownership.
