Can a company sue me back for filing a lien on their business for money they owe me?

It is entirely possible. You are only entitled to "file a lien" in very limited circumstances. There are two circumstances which are most common. One is, if you already have a judgment against the business. Then you could file a memoradum of judgment which would act as a lien against any real estate the company owns in the county in which the memorandum was filed. The other is if you are entitled to file a mechanics lien. This would only apply if you supplied labor or materials for the improvement of real estate owned by the company. Otherwise, you may have caused yourself more trouble than you may have thought by slandering their title to real estate.
