My former employer wrote me a bad paycheck that he still has not reimburse me for. Is there anything I can do legally to get my money? It has been almost 4 months now.

You can take your old boss to small claims court.
There are fees and certain procedures to follow. So depending on the dollar amount of the check this may be the best option for you.
