Neighbor disputes

If my neighbor that lives across the street from me throws a rock at my house and i feel that he is endangering my children, what legal actions can be taken?

If he has committed an assault, then file a police report.

One instance of rock throwing doesn't make him a danger to the neighborhood, but if he specifically aimed at and had a chance of hitting your child, then that's assault. If the rock actually hit, it's battery.

You can file a police report. If the rock was thrown in the vicinity of your children, that is an assault.

Call the police - he is committing a crime.
