Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Illinois

HI, I have been a victime of a religious and race harrasement in my current workplace. My manager made many comments about my religion the latest incident that took place on 2/4/2011 at 3:20pm was in a formal meeting where we had 2 additional coworkers , he told me "go ahead and grille the condidate with questions you can slaughter him like you guys (refering to muslims) slaughter the lamb when you say hoooohahhahooo alah alah and slaughter the sheep. i defended myself by saying that is a wrong depiction of what we do , he said whatever you guys do just do it.

i took up the incidents to HR within my company but they told me that my issues have been addressed however he is still working as my manager and i didnt see any actions taken against him.

can you please advise if i can take this matter in court and sue my company while i am still wokring there?

thanks
