Legal Question in Constitutional Law in Illinois

I probably chose the wrong type of law, but the issue is this. My boyfriend is 41 years old and has served a 15 year prison sentence, he is trying to rebuild his life and no longer associates with most of his family including his sister who has been making up stories about him, saying he is committing criminal acts. This week end she went a step further and told a police officer he was dealing drugs out of her grandmother-in-law's home, mind you he has not lived there in four months and he was never a dealer to begin with. We live almost 100 miles from her I am worried that because of his past issues with the law, she will find some one to listen that may cause him more problems is there anything we can legally do to get her to stop?

You might consider having an attorney send her a cease and desist letter.
