alias summons

I have received--name removed--alias summons in the mail from--name removed--debt collector asking me to file--name removed--written appearence. in the summons it states that I must pay to file for this appearence if I dont do so by the date specified on the summons will they put out--name removed--warrant for my arrest, and if so how long after would--name removed--warrant be issued? will i receive another document in the mail that will notify me of this warrant or no?

You will not have a warrant for your arrest. If you don't pay the appearance fee and don't respond, you will have a default judgment entered against you. It is in your best interests not to ignore this and contest it rather than just let a default judgment get entered against you and ultimately have your wages garnished. I'd recommend you consult with a local consumer law attorney about this.
