What are my rights if some bad debt purchaser sues me in small claims court?

This is not really a question which can be answered in a forum such as lawguru, since it eepends on the individual facts of the case. Do you owe the money? Did they violate the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act? There are many questions which would need to be asked before someone could give you an answer to your question.
