Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Illinois

How serious is a motion to revive judgement? Can they take my cars that I'm still paying on? Can they take money from my bank? I have no property. I average only $100 in the bank. The motion is for some debt I'm not even sure what from 8 years ago. I'm in Cook County Illinois.

A judgment is only collectable for 7 years unless it is revived for another 7. It does not increase what they can take from you. If they could take it before, then can take it now. You are entitled to the same exemptions you were before.
