I am being sued by my ex mother inlaw for a ring that she cosigned for but she can't produce the ring what should I do

Your question implies that you took possession of the ring following the sales transaction. The traditional role of the cosigner is to guarantee payment of the loan. Accordingly, have you left out information about your liability for the ring and payments you have made on the loan?
