A 16 Needs Home

So I'm 16 years old, and I have a responsible friend who is 18 years old, and would like to take me in. I'm currently not legally allowed to live at home until September or maybe even later? Is it possible for her to either take temporary custody of me or anything that she can do until I can go back home?

If your friend wants to be your guardian until you are legally allowed to go back home, your friend will have to seek guardianship through the court. If this is a situation where you were removed from the home by DCFS, your friend should probably contact them about having you placed with them.
