Full custody

I am currently 5.5 months pregnant and my childs father was recently charged with sexual assult on 2 underage girls. I also recently found out that this is not the 1st thim he has been charged with this crime. He also gave my personal information to a fellow inmate who i recieved a letter from who is in jail now for numerous charges. So now i also get to worry about y saftey as well as my familys. Plelase ell me how i go about geting full custody. Itd greatly appreciate any advice. Thank you!

It depends. There are a few ways you might proceed. First, be clear about this, a father has no rights unless he gets into court to affirmatively do something. Does the father know that he's the father and will he be active in the birth? I ask because a father is only going to be able to get legal rights if he signs a document called a Voluntary Acknowledgement of Paternity, is listed on the birth certificate, or through the court. If he doesn't do any of these things he has NO custody/visitation rights. However, one downside is that if you want to get financial support paid, then you would WANT HIM to be proven to be the father. Give me a call and we could discuss some strategy.
