Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

My husband's ex-wife took their 18 year old son and had braces put on and now wants us to pay half of what my husband's insurance doesn't pay (over $2,000). We told her we don't feel responsible for cosmetic expenses. She has had a Lawyer send us a letter saying we must pay.

Do we have to pay for this?

look at the judgment, he is probably obligated to pay such expenses in his divorce.
