Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

I have not seen my kids in years!!

My-ex moved to florida without my consent. I have been paying child support and have not seen my kids in approx 10 years. The payments have been automatically deducted from my checks, they are claiming I owe over 11 grand. I have sent in for a hearing and they have not responded, I also requested a list of payments that I made and they seem to be up to date. I think that someone else is cashing the money here and sending it to her. is there anyway I can go about tracing the payments and locating her and forcing her to move back so that I may be reunited with my children?

Hello. You have rights as a father

and you should begin exercising them

now by taking your case back to the

Illinois court. First of all, you need to locate your ex so she can be

served with the notice of motion

and the motion for rule to show cause why she should not be held in contempt

of court for doing what she did. I suggests that you retain a lawyer to represent you. As to the money you have been paying, you can order an account review through the clerk's office. I will be happy to discuss this further and in more detail.
