Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

Termination of rights

I am active duty military, i pay child support, for a child I have only seen once. She is going to be 4 yrs old. She lives in illinois. I am from Texas. The amount is killing me, and my current family. I have no relationship with the child. We have been to court, and they didnt even care about my finances now. Is there anyway I can terminate all rights. (legal, financial etc...)

Re: Termination of rights

The law does allow for your rights to be terminated at your request more or less when you sign a consent to having your rights terminated only when the other parent has filed a simultaneous petition to have another adopt your child. In short no adoption no termination.
