Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

reducing child support

I have been divorced for several years and my ex has worked hard at being unemployed for most of those years. Every other year he gives me a lump sum to cover some costs to catch up but never matches what he fully owes. He is unemployes again and has filed pro se for a court date to have his payments reduced while he is on unemployment but I have to work and cant get to this date. What do I do as I no longer have a divorce atorney
