transfer child guardianship

My daugther is in the care of my mother and step/ father. I have legal costody . I can not care for her now . for school attendance in Illinois i need to give guardianship to my mother. What is the process for this ?

You can go to the courthouse and go to the probate division and file a petition for custody.
