Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Illinois

Hi,

If a person is filing a civil suit against you and you do not own any property or have a job. Or if you own something say in 5 years. Can they put a lien on that property until the suit is payed. There has not been any papers drawn up yet. Need information.

Thank You,

J From IL
