Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Illinois

Legal Advice Needed

I'm in a situation where I'm being falsely accused of things I'm not doing. I was in a relationship with a guy whose wife found out about it. After awhile there have been numerous times her tires have been slashed and harassing phone calls made at her job. The husband and wife are telling police that it's me and possibly others. I was also banned from my place of resident because of false statements that were told to the managers of the apartment complex. Now the husband and wife are putting out an Order of Protection on me. I have not committed any crimes or wrongdoing that the two have accused me of. Once I received a copy of the Protection, I read the husband's testimony about me. EVERYTHING in the testimony is a lie and I am so angry because it seem like it is that easy to get away with it. I have been forced to move further away from my only family to attend school and have failed because of what I had to go through. I have been watched every time I would come down to visit and it would make me feel uncomfortable. Now I am being video-recorded by the apartment complex and I feel so humiliated and depressed. I want to give up but I can't because then they will win. Please tell me is there any action that I can take upon them?

Re: Legal Advice Needed

Lets go one thing at a time. How were you banned from your place of residence? Did you have a lease?

What is it that you mean when you say you are being video recorded?

How long is the Order of Protection for? Why does it matter to you that there is such an order? Are you still in contact with the husband?

Please feel free to give us a call if you want to talk.
