motorcycle purchase

I bought a motorcycle on ebay. The transaction went fine I paid for the bike and received it however the title was lost by the seller. we agreed to go through with the sale and he would reapply for a new one nad send it to me. There is no lien and the penn. dmv has a record of the title in his name. he keeps saying he applied but no title and the dmv says they never received the request. What can I do to force this guy to get the new title. It's been 3 months. thanks

You can contact the local authorities in Pa., the local authorties in Il. and the Department of Justice as interstate commerce is involved. You should also contact ebay.

Otherwise, you probably need to obtain a lawyer in Pa. to file suit.
