Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Illinois

i am separated might be sued

i am separted from my husband . i signed a lease with a partner for a buisness a year ago.the partner, who also lives at the same place as the buisness( the rent is for both the store and apartment) owes rent. the landlord now wants to sue me for the back rent because he says he knows i have assets the parnter has none.he is telling me he can get my husbands wages garnished and sue him too.he says it doesnt matter we are separated .i never have seen any paper work form either the landlord or my partner and cant defend my self because i really dont know whats going on. i didnt willing sign the lease the landlords wife and my partner said i was ''witnessing my partners signiture'' of course now the landlords wife is not admitting that.the landlords wifes name is not on the lease but she continues to call and harrass me. i dont know what to do i make little money. can my husband be involved also what can i do to protect the house we both still own.
