Can i sue for an oral agreement for money on a house

Too little information to tell. Need more facts. That said, if you're saying you put money down on a house with no written contract, you should be entitled to get your money back, but there's no way of telling what the other party may say happened. Normally, a contract for sale of real estate must be in writing, however.
