Legal Question in Immigration Law in Illinois

I am contemplating marrying a young woman who I have known for some time from Africa. Although we do like each other and believe we will end up married anyway, we are rushing the marriage in order to get her citizenship so she can attend school. I want to know is this possibly marriage fraud and if so, what are the chances of being convicted?

And deportation. No way of telling. Why not make sure she's got the right paperwork and get married "for real". ??
