Legal Question in Immigration Law in Illinois

I work for a private software company based in Champaign, IL with about 500 employees. My department is considering changing our job title (7 people. only 3 out of 7 are on H1B, rest are citizens). Everything else, including salary and job description, remain exactly the same as now. Will they have to file an amended H1B visa petition? If yes, how much does it cost? I will truly appreciate your help in this regard.
