Legal Question in Employment Law in Illinois

A lawsuit between 2 employees

I am being sued by the secretary of a former church I worked for for a sexual assault that did not take place. The alleged incident was 2 years ago and she recently filed the suit (3 days after the statute of limitations had passed, she changed the date to get it accepted). The church we worked for at the time announced to its congregation, the families who's kids attend daycare, and the youth group kids that I was being sued for sexual assault. I have not worked at the church for nearly 2 years....there has got to be something illegal about that, yes? She filed on the 28th of august, they announced to the congregation on the 29th, the daycare families on the 31st, before I even heard anything about it. Any thoughts?

We handle many cases like this - sexual abuse and sexual harassment. While the Plaintiff may have changed the date to survive a statute of limitations issue, you may be in the case for a while. Kindly provide me with your contact info upon receipt of this e-mail so that we can discuss in greater detail.
