Legal Question in Employment Law in Illinois

Can they reduce my pay 25% because I received a dui charge? I do not need to drive to get to work or due my job.

This does sound strange. In illinois, if you are an employee-at-will and do not have an agreement or collective bargaining agreement (e.g. union) in place that dictates your salary, your employer generally can change your rate of pay at any time. However, there are limitations. Were you convicted of the DUI or just charged? This could make a difference.
